Kavak - Beypazarı - Bey Solar Power Plant Bundle
Kavak – Beypazarı – Bey Solar Power Plant Bundle Project consists of 12 solar power plants with the total installed power of 13.04 mWe located in the Ankara and Samsun in Turkey. The plant has been designed to generate electricity by Solar Photovoltaic technology.
The main purpose of the project is to generate approximately 18,353.03 MWh/year of electricity to supply the national grid using a renewable resource and tapping the solar power plant potential in the region. The project activity reduces greenhouse gases (GHGs) emissions that would have otherwise occurred in the absence of the project activity by avoiding electricity generation from fossil fuel sources. The average annual emission reductions of the proposed Project are estimated to be 12,156.4 tonnes of CO2e (tCO2e).
The Project site is located in Turkey, in the boundaries of Ankara and Samsun province.
