
2BZ BES Cubuk Biogas Power Plant
2BZ BES Çubuk Biogas Power Plant, built and operated in Ankara Province, Çubuk District, has an installed capacity of 4 MWe. The purpose of the project activity is to produce electricity from poultry and cattle manure with biomethanization process which will also result in fermented products that could be utilized as fertilizers by local farmers. 2BZ BES ÇubukBiogas PP has received its renewed generation license from EMRA on 14-November -2019. As per the generation license, the annual expected generation is 28,000 MWh/year.

The facility is expected to generate 28,000 MWh/year and 584,000 m3/year biogas when operational capacity is 4 MWe. It is estimated that the project help reduce the carbon emissions by 103,845 tons annually. The total emission reduction for the whole crediting period is calculated as 726,915 tonnes of CO2.
The project is expected to contribute 4 SDGs which are SDG 3, 7, 8 and 13.
